Dear students, We welcome you to the Department of Computer Science of the School of Sciences of the International Hellenic University. The Department was created in 2019 from the Department of Computer Engineering of the Eastern Macedonia and Trace Institute of Technology, whose successful course is recognized throughout Greece, after the merger of four well-known institutions in Macedonia under law 4610/2019. The teaching and research staff of the Department consists of renowned scientists who ensure high level of education and training for our students and a very promising professional and scientific development for our graduates. The Department, located in the beautiful, amphitheatrically built city of Kavala, has the required infrastructure and equipment, which is constantly upgraded. The established four institutional research laboratories, the Master programs as well as the PhD program ensure the most complete education and training for our students through their involvement in research activities.
